Contemporary Artist, Ron Burkhardt, Debuts New Solo Art Exhibit, Burkhardt: 3D, at Manolis Projects Featuring His Signature Notism, Earth Art Canvas and LetterScape Styles

MIAMIManolis Projects Gallery is pleased to announce it is hosting Ron Burkhardt’s newest 3D solo art exhibit featuring his signature notism, earth art canvases and LetterScape styles. The gallery will host a grand opening art reception at its MiMo location located at 335 NE 59th St. in Miami, Fla. 33137 on Thursday, April 7, 2022 from 6 PM to 9:30 PM

Open to the public from April 8th to May 7th, Burkhardt’s new 3D solo art show will feature notism art, which is a unique genre of contemporary art that exudes the beauty of memory and fuses abstract semiotics and organic writing to record symbols, words and cultural artifacts as they drift slowly into the distant black hole of the past. “Notism art manifests a unique method for collecting and storing memories; multi-faceted, richly complex surfaces are grounded by textural substrates that bring layers of nostalgia to life before one’s eyes,” said Burkhardt, who originally entered the art scene in 2001 after spending years in the advertising industry running his own agency in New York City.

The exhibit will also feature Burkhardt’s LetterScapes artwork, which features blended words and letter forms in geometric patterns that form massive words. “His latest solo exhibit is both captivating and thought-provoking— we’re always excited to work with Ron to present his art to the world,” said J. Steven Manolis, founder, owner and curator at the Manolis Project Gallery.

Burkhardt has previously exhibited dozens of bold and unique art shows at numerous prestigious galleries around the world including Phillips de Pury, Leonard Tourne and Forbes in Manhattan, Peter Marcelle Contemporary in Southampton and Art Basel Miami, to name a few. He has also been honored for his artwork in mixed media and abstract expressionism by the International Biennales in Austria and Florence, Italy, and at the American Art Awards. “We’re honored to host such a talented and accomplished artist at Manolis Projects Gallery— it will be a highly sought after exhibit for Miami art lovers to attend and view this Spring,” Manolis said.

Burkhardt’s passion for unique colors and powerful abstractions make his latest art show the talk of the town. “Ron’s Earth Art takes us back to life’s most basic foundations. Rooted in earth’s gritty reality, his organic art form reveals intriguing depths and layers of color substrates forged from the planet’s crust,” Manolis said.
